University of Southern California Science Outreach

University of Southern California Science Outreach provides quality science education at no cost to the local community through providing experiment materials, equipment, lesson plans, and clean-up materials to every student. The organization offers 23 SCout sessions that make weekly visits to five partner schools in 1st-3rd grade classrooms. Each session consists of 8-10 undergraduate or graduate volunteers with one or two session leaders. For ten weeks of the semester, each session engages students in enriching activities and experiments focused on various scientific concepts.
