Scholarships, grants, & loans - for academic year 2022-2023, 82 students received scholarships from uhc and 75 students received scholarships from private sources. Most students were awarded the scholarships on the basis of academic merit and/or unmet financial need. Others were granted awards based on academic merit only. A total of 157 scholarships in the amount of $464,128 have been awarded ($287,088 from uhc scholarships and $177,040 from private source scholarships).for fiscal year 2022-2023, 735 students were able to receive some form of financial aid. Many students would not be able to pursue a post-secondary education were it not for the financial aid programs. The University participates in the title iv federal campus based programs as well as the federal pell grant program and disadvantaged nursing scholarships.- 287 students were assisted and able to receive $1,165,518 in pell grants.- 658 students received $7,601,217 in federal subsidized and unsubsidized stafford loans.- 56 students received $90,972 in federal s.e.o.g.- 20 students received $42,212 in federal work-study grants.- 123 students received $634,297 from the Louisiana t.o.p.s. Program.- 55 students received $92,657 from Louisiana g.o. Grants.- an additional $1,443,435 in student aid was from various other awards and scholarships, including $1,249,788 of federal emergency relief funding.university of Holy Cross was able to award $11,534,436 in student aid from institutional, private, state, and federal sources.
Student services encompasses various services:the registrar's office provides publications, computerized student records, and other academic services to prospective and current students.student services provides funding for 5 professional clubs.the student government association offers a multi-faceted arena of social events and entertainment on and off campus for students.the division of student affairs funds a host of intramural sports at the University, which are available to all students.the security office oversees the security of the campus and parking lots.the hurricane cafe provides food services to all students, faculty, and staff.student services also includes travel, workshops and seminars in addition to administrative supplies and equipment for student organizations, admissions and recruiting staff of the university.student services also includes an on campus health office (providing routine health services and first aid), student organizations funding and support, student sports support for equipment, admissions and recruiting staff of the University.
Instructional services - per semester, approximately 1,524 students were serviced in approximately 436 specific courses of study in 38 degree programs. Additionally, instructional services were delivered to the civic community through extent outreach programs.
