Burden of musculoskeletal diseases in the United States: publishes publications presenting data on Bone and Joint disorders which form the basis for advocacy and education to raise awareness about the impact of these disorders on americans and our society, the prevalence of these diseases, and the societal and economic cost.
Public/patient education: these programs are presented in communities across the us annually on disease management of arthritis, a highly prevalent and disabling musculoskelatal condition, and prevention of osteoporotic fracture, which can cause loss of independence and early mortality.
