the ujc adult luncheon club located at 15-17 willet street, new york, ny is a dfta funded senior center. Another 40 to 50 seniors visit the center each day for activities or for socialization. On site, there is a case worker that sees at least 10 clients each day, assisting with a variety of services. Lillian wald also operates a weekly consumer choice food pantry serving 500 families.

This program is a walk-in social services office staffed by social workers who speak a variety of languages, i.e. English, spanish, russian and chinese, so that ujces is able to assist the adult and older adult clients of every cultural and ethnic background found in its community. Services include case assistance, benefit and entitlement assistance, counseling, crisis intervention, home visits, information and referral services. Services are available five days a week at the 465 grand street office, and the staff is supervised by a certified social worker. Ujc also offers emergency housing voucher housing navigator services at the 171 henry street location.ujc also supports a low income housing program located at 219 henry street, new york, ny, where it provides social services to tenants in this 22 unit single room occupancy who are formerly homeless persons diagnosed with mental health issues.
the norc (naturally occurring retirement community) program is located at masaryk tower 75 columbia street, new york, ny, is a dfta funded program to support the nearly 1000 older adults living at masaryk towers through intensive health and case management services so they an age in place in their owns homes and community. There is a nurse on site, a master's level social worker and two case managers that provide services in english, chinese, spanish, reflecting the diverse community at masaryk and a wide array of recreational and educational programming.
