Program areas at Unison Learning Center
Workshops: life drawing sessions are offered every tuesday and saturday, giving artists, hobbyists, amateur artists, and students an oppurtunity to work with experienced and professional models under controlled lightning on the organizations well-lit large and comfortable space. Tehre is no instruction. Saturday sessions are dedicated to two sessions lasting an hour and a half, the first having short to medium length poses and the second having one long pose.
Gallery/sculpture: the organization offers a woodland scultpure garden for cummunity members and makers
Performances: top-tier performances from diverse array of artists during the pandemic. We were able to present customized pre-taped concerts from bluegrass, american roots, jazz, folk and indie. During the summer and fall of 2020 and again in the spring, summer and fall of 2021, we inaugurated our outdoor stage in our widely known and esteemed outdoor sculpture garden. Socila distancing and masking protocols were required and adhered to. We hosted another selection of varied genres from classical quartet, to a dance and music festival; from childrens performances to gospel choir.
The organization offers community space in its galleries galleries to organize and perform their own arts. Community members are invited to use the organization's spaces at below market rates for photography shoots, life-drawing, dance, and design studios. And among other program activities.
