Program areas at Truckers Against Trafficking

Education campaign, 2,700 dvd's, 157,000 wallet cards, 24,000 dash stickers, and 11,900 brochures were distributed in 2018. As a result, and through other tat training methods, the total call count into the national human trafficking hotline at the end of december 2018 was 2,250. Truckers reported another 612 incidences of human trafficking to local law enforcement agencies or 911. Tat conducted over 18 training sessions, 9 coalition builds held, and the replicable model created with the office of motor vehicle enforcement in Iowa, which allows state patrol to utilize its entry points into the trucking industry in order to spread the tat message, has been adopted by 40 states.

Social media coordination includes the maintenance of our website, facebook and twitter sites as well as the (social) networking involved with maintaining and increasing our communication and public image with the trucking industry, other ngo's and the general public. (at the end of 2018 the tat facebook page,twitter, and instagram accounts had 217,165 followers).

Truckers against trafficking program. 680,153 company employees, students at truck driving schools and independent drivers were registered on the tat website as being tat trained by the end of 2018. All 50 state trucking associations have now partnered with tat. 9,574 people toured the freedom drivers project at 35 events in 20 states in 2018.
