Cultural Program: In February 2024 we hosted the Miraaa Media Fest film festival in Harlingen and Laredo, TX that supported 12 experimental film makers and over 20 national, and international artists. The Aligned Mind Exhibition featured 3 resident artist at the International Museum of Arts and Culture. The Unidad y Alegria Mural was completed in collaboration with come dream. come build in Brownsville, Texas. Collaboration with Artist Nansi Guevara in her project Nuestra Delta Magica (Exhibition, workshops, videos, art). Hosted 3 artist in residence for 2 months and exhibited in December 2024. Hosted 3 screen printing workshops with community collaborators. Hosted 4 workshops for artist professional development
Editorial Program- We supported a cohort of 6 community journalist in developing and publishing 12 stories. We supported 33 community journalists and published 104 articles. We published 3 episodes of the Frontera Retold podcast. We published 3 Truchita Zines on reproductive justice. Hosted 3 Editorial Workshops with 42 participants,
Videography Program - We published 48 short videos and 4 longform features in 2024 ranging from interviews, social media posts and creative campaigns and projects. In 2024 we supported 1 videographer with project funding.
