Program areas at Trinity Academy of Portland

Trinity Academy of Portland educates students in grades 6-12, using a proven and rigorous curriculum developed by Trinity schools over the past 40 years. The curriculum combines: a seminar-based classical humanities program that includes substantial discussion and analytical writing about original texts; a rigorous and advanced math and science program that integrates upper-level calculus and physics with computer programming; and a participation-based arts program, including studio art, art history, music performance, music theory, and music composition. All students complete the same rigorous academic program. Special emphasis is placed on building and maintaining a rich and supportive culture of learning, based on the school's ecumenical christian identity. During the 2021-22 academic year, Trinity Academy of Portland enrolled 103 students, more than half who received need-based scholarship aid.f 2022.
