Program areas at Triangle Flying Disc Association Triangle Ultimate
Youth summer camp programs Triangle Ultimate ("tu") partnered with local pro teams (flyers, radiance) to offer two weeks of overnight camps, branded carolina Ultimate flight school. An elite coaching team coached 105 flight school campers. Tu continued to collaborate with longtime partners like chapel hill p&r, carrboro, carolina friends school, orange co, durham public schools to offer high quality, affordable, and local camp experiences to players across the Triangle region. We served 519 youth players through our recreational summer camps.
Traditional adult leagues Triangle Ultimate continued to offer high-quality affordable playing opportunities throughout the year to our adult community serving 1,214 adult players this year. In spring, summer, and fall we regularly offered 8 weeks of seasonal coed leagues, masters leagues, women's leagues, beginners leagues, corporate leagues and regular holiday hat tournaments. These leagues offered new and returning players fun and engaging opportunities to play, compete, and socialize with their coworkers outside of the work environment
Juniors / youth club our competitive summer youth club championship season served 178 youth across 7 teams. All teams attended our southeast showdown tournament to compete regionally. Four of our elite travel teams competed in the usa Ultimate youth club championships (ycc). Triangle Ultimate is proud to have sent teams to the youth championships since 2009.
