Program areas at Tri County Community Health Fund Hope Street Project
Operation of the Hope Street Rest Stop, a place of belonging and support for persons experiencing homelessness. Income is from individual donation. Expenses include utilities, director's salary and related expenses such as internet and phone expenses, office supplies, food and water, laundry and soap and other necessary supplies for this operation.
Creation of recovery housing for persons experiencing homelessness, and in some cases, exiting incarceration. Tri County Community Health Fund is building a facility for men and another for women which will provide a comprehensive education program for people who need to live in clean housing in order to move their lives forward in a positive manner. The revenue mentioned above is from donations only, with one grant from Stevens County Homeless funds.
Creation of low cost housing, rental of four modest sized houses for low income folks who recently were homeless. Purchase of campers and other options for addressing the housing crisis. Selling these campers to homeless folks at cost without interest and providing management of the rental houses and support for reunification of families.
