Provide emotional and practical support to victims of traumatic events in the first few hours after a tragedy. Services provided in Oregon and Washington. The first responders request a Trauma Intervention Program (tip) volunteer through the 911 system.tip conducted 2 training academies during the fiscal year ended 6/30/23. Tip volunteers responded in person to 3,868 requests from citizens in crisis and assisted 15,498 clients during the year 2023. Volunteers spent 12,783 hours on-scene and made 6,324 tele-tip and 30-day follow-up calls. 213 adult volunteers and 21 teen volunteers responded to calls.
