Program areas at Tqamp
Industry presence - Tqamp delivered over a dozen presentations at major national and regional conferences across north america training hundreds of camp professionals on 2slgbtqia+ inclusion. They created web-based courses toolkits and faqs to support broader policy and practice changes in the camping industry. Tqamp also partnered with leading platforms like campminder and aca to influence standards and readiness for inclusion.
Building affinity spaces - Tqamp hosted 27 virtual and in-person affinity spaces supporting 2slgbtqia+ bipoc trans/nonbinary and allied camp staff. They created community gatherings around key visibility and awareness days and engaged corporate and new-to-the-topic participants in facilitated discussions. These spaces fostered connection support and deeper learning across a diverse set of identities and experiences.
Individual camps and organizations support - Tqamp provided customized training and consultation to more than 34 camps and organizations reaching over 3400 staff members. Services included executive coaching staff trainings policy development and crisis support often at reduced fees. They developed a comprehensive internal inclusion policy template to help camps build safer and more responsive environments.
