Equador - Timmy Global Health supported programs in four regions of ecuador (quito, archidona/tena, guangaje, and santo domingo) with over $53,000 of financial support for patient consults, Health promoters, and public Health and prevention projects. Timmy worked alongside 72 community Health promoters, 52 local medical professionals, and donated more than $57,000 worth of medicine during Timmy clinics. 20 medical teams (with a total of 316 students and general-skills participants and 108 us medical professionals) volunteered alongside our partners and the local municipal ecuadorian government to provide 10,432 patient consults and support 1,085 patient referrals.
Dominican republic - Timmy Global Health supported three sites (las canas, mao and monte cristi) in the dominican republic with $16,000 of financial support for patient consults, local physicians, and Health education. Timmy worked alongside 5 community Health promoters, 11 local medical professionals, and donated more than $15,000 worth of medicine during Timmy clinics. 9 medical teams (with a total of 109 students/general participants and 32 us medical professionals) volunteered alongside Timmy's partner to offer 2,368 patient consults and 295 patient referrals. In addition to primary care teams Timmy led an ophthalmologist specialty team and a high school service learning trip focused on the social determinants of Health in the dominican republic."
Guatemala - Timmy Global Health supported a partner medical clinic in quetzaltenango (xela), guatemala, with $45,000 of financial support for local physicians and operations, and targeted public Health programs to address malnutrition and provide parasite treatments. Timmy worked alongside 14 local medical professionals, and donated more than $18,000 worth of medicine to the clinic and patients. Five medical teams (with a total of 93 student/general participants and 36 medical professionals) volunteered alongside Timmy's partner to offer over 2,719 patient consults and support 537 patient referrals.
