Program areas at Thunder Fellows Foundation

To address the prevalent opportunity and racial wealth gaps in the Tulsa area, the Thunder Fellows Program applies data & analytics curriculum uniquely tailored to industries standards to ensure proficiency in essential skill sets (i.e. data mining, coding and app development) and hands-on experiences highly sought after by recruiters and talent acquisition teams. Such skills include proficiency in coding, web development, full-funnel marketing, effective presentation skills, and successfully navigating inter-generational corporate settings. The free, 30-week after school program also leverages a strategic pipeline of local & national corporations (including Google, Wilson Sporting Goods, Post Oak Automotive, HBO, NBA, Universal Music Group, University of Tulsa, Langston University, Tulsa Debate League, Code.org, Tulsa Regional Stem Alliance, and more!) to provide exclusive access to mentors, professional coaching, and immersive experiences intended to prepare our young people for substantive employment opportunities in perpetuity.
