Program areas at TJU

Expenses incurred in educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. The sidney kimmel medical college provides undergraduate medical education. The jefferson college of health professions provides undergraduate and graduate education in a variety of fields including occupational therapy, physical therapy, biomedical sciences and radiologic sciences. The jefferson college of nursing offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing. The jefferson college of pharmacy offers a doctor of pharmacy degree and the jefferson colleges of biomedical sciences and population health offer masters and doctoral programs.

Expenses incurred in functioning as the tax-exempt parent organization of jefferson/jefferson health; a comprehensive professional university and tax-exempt integrated healthcare delivery system ("system"), with a tripartite mission of education, research and patient care.
