See schedule o for complete description.founded in 2019 and anchored in Georgia, Fair Count is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to partnering with historically undercounted communities to achieve a Fair and accurate Count of all people in Georgia and the nation in the decennial census, and to strengthen the pathways to greater civic participation. Our fight for a Fair and accurate decennial census requires our full commitment to Fair and equitable redistricting processes and maps, Fair and free elections, and systemic racial equity. We have built and fostered local, regional, and national partnerships through the unprecedented challenges of the 2020 census, the chaos of the 2020 general election, the intensity of the 2021 Georgia runoff election, and the necessity of an equitable covid-19 recovery. We seek to end extractive organizing in historically marginalized communities and lay in its place long-term relationships using every iteration of civic participation as catalysts for continued civic engagement and to serve as a trusted source to dispel misinformation and voter suppression tactics. While we continue to execute grassroots and digital organizing operations, strategic technology innovations, ambitious faith connections, and dedicated partnership development, we adapt our strategies to shifting realities in order to continue mobilizing bipoc communities with bold, nimble strategies.in 2023, Fair Count expanded into Mississippi permanently through our program Fair south. While we conducted typical gotv efforts (330k texts, 32,809 phone calls, 8,790 doors canvassed, 7,600 collected commit to vote cards) during the 2023 Mississippi state election among our organizers who lived and worked in 4 counties not including the jackson metro, we also accomplished the following:concluded a landscape analysis of more 274 potential partners throughout the state.worked directly with 40 partner organizations across 35 counties.
