Program areas at The Witte Museum

In The fiscal year 2018/2019, approximately 330,000 people visited The Museum for exhibitions, programs and special events, of which 130,000 were children and 55,000 visited free of charge during weekly free tuesdays hours. (see schedule o for additional information.)
The Witte Museum store offers a variety of books, educational toys and limited-time-only special products related to The exhibits and public programming. These items provide take-away experiences that reinforce The transformative experiences in nature, science and culture of The Museum.
Public programs at The Witte Museum included 811 events. These events included science, natural history, history and outreach programs. Approximately 75,000 children and adults attended these programs. The public programs include gallery theater, student workshops, demonstrations and presentations.
