A grant from asha provided funds to upgrade The catie campus internet capabilities, add servers and computers to allow catie to perform online and blended education. In effect, this project brought The catie digital capabilities up to The standard of most us institutions of higher learning. The entire amount of The grant from asha was made to catie.

In recognition of The devastating floods in The turrialba region of costa rica, we established a gofundme and facebook accounts to raise funds to assist those impacted. All of those finds were sent to a special branch of catie that administered The assistance to The public.

Each year we conduct a major donor fundraising campaign which goes to The general budget of catie. Contribtons from The wallace genetics Foundation ($25,000), soutwest airlines ($19,100), and richard silvistrini ($5,000), we provide to catie to defray general expenses.
