The Tribal Child Care Association of California

The Tribal childcare Association of California (tccac) has joined together to provide professional support and technical assistance to tribes with Child Care programs and to unify Tribal voices to educate Tribal, federal, state and local governments and agencies as to The strength and existence of Tribal Child Care programs. Program services included two large events, Tribal and roundtable meetings and smaller meeting as requested. Hands-on, interactive, exercise-based workshops designed to bring out The best in leadership and teamwork skills were provided. In addition, meetings included improving access to high quality Child Care, cultural teaching, family Child Care at its best, and t/ta customized to meet program goals.the Tribal Child Care Association of California provides workforce pathways in support of Tribal Child Care providers, teachers and directors providing direct service to Tribal children ages 0-5 years. Tccac pathways are in place to obtain training and technical assistance for professional development goals and/or higher education degrees.tccac provides support services through our Tribal quality improvement system (tqis) that supports Tribal program and community goals for individual quality improvement for sites providing early learning and Care in Tribal communities.tccac developed a two-year strategic plan with The board of directors and staff.
