Program areas at Society for Birth Defects Research and
Annual meeting - the 62nd annual meeting was held in vancouver, bc, in june 2022. The meeting was a hybrid meeting with approximately 300 individuals split evenly between in person attendees and remote attendees. The meeting intends to promote Research, exchange of ideas and education issues, concerns and new advances in the field of Birth Defects Research.
Awards - the Society has established awards for individuals for various accomplishments in promoting Research and education in the field of Birth Defects Research. Several of these awards are funded by various donors and are therefore named after them.
Membership services and publications - the Society electronically publishes twenty-two issues per year of the journal "Birth Defects Research" which is a comprehensive resource of original Research and reviews in fields related to embryo-fetal development and reproduction.
