Program service accomplishments for 2022 - - the organization completed a intensive process to interview, survey and indentify small-scale Vermont dairy producers to assess Agritech tool usage needs and willingness of farmers to serve as pilot dairy Farms for a coordinated research project. - additional research was conducted to identify first pilot project technology; assess robotics, geofencing, animal feeding, and other computerized monitoring systems, among others, used on dairy and other small-scale Farms in other regions and countries; settled on geofencing as first pilot project Agritech tool. - identify neofence as geofence supplier and establish supply, training and tech support agreement.
