1.breaking the chains of poverty - this is currently A 28 day/6 week workforce development program. Btcp is designed to improve and build the skill needed for our participants to more effectively compete for employment opportunities in the building trades, manufacturing, hospitality, building services and emerging energy/green service sectors. This program is A high performance/high expectations programs and focuses on identifying individuals from communities who have historically suffered from being unemployed and systemically denied opportunities for success.
Support of the national A. Philip Randolph organization - the A. Philip Randolph Institute was founded in 1965 to continue the struggle for social, political and economic justice for all working americans. Apri is an organization of black trade unionist to fight for racial equality and economic justice. The Pittsburgh A. Randolph Institute Education has as part of its programmatic activities, the responsibility to assist in supporting programs of the national apri ed Fund.
