Program areas at The Next Stop Foundation

In 2022, The Next Stop served more than 60 adult members who have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, autism and/or a brain injury. Utilizing goal-oriented programming, each day The members of The Next Stop enjoyed a supported social interaction time, a group cooking experience, a recreational activity and an enrichment opportunity. In addition to regular programming, members of The Next Stop hosted two family dinners which included member prepared lasagna and dessert as well as a musical performance for their families. Members of The Next Stop were also able to participate in a service project tie dying pillowcases and converting them into cinch bags for a local nonprofit serving foster children. Website designed to support adults with special needs in development.
