The new Jewish Home, Manhattan provides healthcare and social engagement for community-based clients. The medical adult day program is offered for individuals with chronic health conditions. They offer healthcare services and coordination with personal physicians, transportation, nutritious meals along with daily programs and activities. The program is staffed by skilled nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists along with certified nursing assistants. In 2018 the medical adult day program served 178 participants.social day care program clients spend the day in a caring, engaging secure environment. Services include assistance with personal care, meals and snacks along with a variety of activities and wellness programs. Professional staff consists of certified recreation specialists and certified nursing assistants licensed by new york state.
