Encourage and foster business ownership by members of disadvantaged groups:through ndc's advisory services and small business lending units, we have assisted more than 35,800 nonprofits and small businesses owned by disadvantaged individuals or individuals located in low-income census tracts across The nation by providing sba guaranteed 7a loans, sba guaranteed ppp loans, covid recovery grants, non-guaranteed loans, training and business counseling services. Ndc extended over $609 million in covid recovery financing in The form of grants or loans at below market interest rates with attractive terms. The business counseling service is provided at no cost to The (cont. On schedule o) small businesses.
To provide housing for low income individuals and families:ndc conducts training and provides counseling and technical assistance to disadvantaged communities and nonprofit organizations in support of providing housing for low-income persons. During The year, ndc worked with more than 100 communities and nonprofit organizations and provided training to practitioners in housing Development for low-income persons and in low-income communities. In 2022, eighty-six practitioners completed ndc's housing Development finance professional (hdfp) certification series. (cont. On schedule o)
Inform and aid communities in obtaining and utilizing governmental funds for support of local economic development:ndc conducts training and provides counseling and technical assistance to disadvantaged communities for support of local economic Development and Community development.during The year, ndc worked with more than 100 communities providing technical assistance and guidance in carrying out economic and Community Development strategies, programs, projects, and developing public facilities. Through these services, ndc achieved financing for projects and programs of more than $1.5 billion, (cont. On schedule o) inclusive of government and private sector funds.
