Program areas at The Mix at Arbor Place
We partner with individuals, churches, businesses, educational institutions and a wide range of organizations to serve as a cross-cultural advocate that challenges youth (ranging from 7 to 17) to become tomorrow's leaders. We are passionate about providing an intentional, high quality, after- school program for some of lancaster's most at-risk youth. Our after-school program runs five days per week and provides students with focus on academics, life skills, nutrition/fitness, performing arts and spiritual formation. We served students as they participated and were fully engaged in The enrichment opportunities provided at The center. We will continue to offer tutoring and homework assistance, small groups to assist with everyday issues, nutrition and fitness classes, private music lessons, spoken work poetry, and hip hop dance classes. Our summer programs served over 50 students teaching them about world cultures and computer skills. It is our goal to continue to give The students unique and relevant developmental opportunities.
