The Siyafunda Endangered Species Project is based in the Greater Makalali Game Reserve Wild Terra sends volunteers to Siyafunda who live in and learn about the bush while performing wildlife counts animal identification and other tasks which help the reserve management keep tabs on all the fauna there Volunteers come away with a Big 5 experience and an appreciation for wildlife and wildlife management which makes them conservationists for life
Wild Terra supports Na'ankuse by sending volunteers to its reserve in Namibia Na'ankuse protect wildlife and improves the lives of the indigenous peoples with sustainable innovative support Volunteers Wild Terra sends to Na'ankuse help in all manner of task from caring for animals to helping in clinics
Wild Terra supports Lapolosa Wilderness with direct grants and by sending volunteers to help reserve management Lapolosa Wilderness is a reserve outside of Lydenburg SA with the goal of rewilding it 25 square miles of former cattle ranches Through the years hundreds of miles of barbed wire have been removed and 30 miles of game fencing erected Giraffe black wildebeest zebra impala red hartebeest and other animals have been reintroduced to supplement the indigenous game
