Program areas at The League for People with Disabilities

Adult medical day is a licensed program with individualized rehabilitation for adults with cognitive and physical Disabilities resulting from traumatic brain injury, neurological impairment, stroke and hiv/aids
Autism services and programs are designed to focus on what each particiapant can do. Services include therapeutic integration, intensive individual support services, family training and respite care for families who have children with autism.
The day habilitation program provides safe, therapeutic, educational and meaningful activities for adults with Disabilities who are looking for an introduction into The world of work. Participants can select from a wide variety of activities including cooking skills, sports and recreation, social skills and more. The League partners with other local organizations and businesses in baltimore and surrounding areas to create meaningful opportunities and experiences for The individuals we serve through volunteerism and pre-employment activities, educational opportunities, life skills and wellness, and sports and recreation.
Other program services include camping and therapeutic recreation services, League industries, which applies The talents of skilled trade professionals working alongside individuals with disabilites to deliver quality service above industry standards in printing and mailing, workforce development, wellness center, The scale aphasia program, which is designed to imporve The quality of life for People living with aphasia and their families, personal support services which provide a full range of community based support for The delivery of supervision and other necessary interventions to enable individuals to live in their own home, and individual support services, behavioral support, and community learning services for persons with developmental disabilites.
