Staff and volunteers triage applications and provide tenants with tools they can use to avoid eviction. The most urgent cases are referred to The emergency rental assistance (era) program. The era provides financial assistance to low-income renters at risk of eviction and homelessness. Jesse Tree's era program couples one-time emergency rental assistance with case management services, which empower tenants to find longer-term stability. Tenants are connected to rental assistance, case management, and legal services directly in court.
