Program areas at The Interdisciplinary Council on Developmental and Learning Disorders

The dir training program (also known as The dirfloortime training program) is focused on educating The community we serve on The Developmental, individual-differences, and relationship-based (dir) model and The practice of dirfloortime. Many courses/trainings are open to anyone including professionals and parents. The program also offers a competency-based professional certificate for professionals to earn a formal certificate in The dirfloortime approach.
Icdl annual conference - three day annual conference to help parents and professionals integrate knowledge and competencies from different disciplines that will improve prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of emotional and Developmental Disorders in infancy and childhood.
The institute at icdl is a program to directly educate and coach families in implementing dirfloortime with their children. Most children receiving floortime as an intervention are diagnosed with autism or another Developmental disorder. The institute coaches families in-person and virtually and also provides intensive floortime programs for children and families in our therapy center.
