Program areas at The Inner Pup

Our team of 25-30 Inner Pup volunteers, vet tech and veterinarians host affordable monthly pop-up heartworm prevention clinics in high-need communities. We offer low cost heartworm and flea/tick prevention medication, testing, and treatment options. Each month we help our thousands of clients and with our ambassadors, spread education and information on The plight of animal welfare. Our safety net spiderweb empowers smaller communities to make sure no pet falls through The cracks of The system. We have seen over 7500 pet visits since 2016 and currently have 1800 in-need pet owning families as clients. We offer veterinary assistance for low-income pet owners who cannot afford to see a vet. We offer training and behavioral vouchers for those who might otherwise give up their pet or who want to start off on The right foot with their pet but cannot afford it.
