Throughout fiscal year 2024, july 1, 2023 june 30, 2024, The Help USA Fund, Inc. Continued to expand its fundraising efforts, securing critical resources from individual donors, private foundations, and corporate partners to further Help USA, inc.'s mission.strategic donor engagement enabled significant investments in Help USA affiliates, ensuring The sustained delivery of essential services in transitional housing facilities for homeless families and individuals. Contributions directly supported wraparound services in permanent supportive housing, as well as transformative programs like art therapy, Help works, genesis academy, and wellness initiatives that foster long-term stability for residents.during a time of institutional transition, with a new ceo and cfo, fundraising growth outpaced previous years. The department continued its donor outreach, leveraging a dynamic mix of fundraising campaigns and signature events to drive awareness and increase resources for Help's core initiatives. These efforts not only generated financial contributions but also facilitated The distribution of in-kind donations - including clothing, food, computers, and toys - to Help USA shelter and supportive housing sites. Additionally, a targeted backpack drive successfully secured and distributed hundreds of backpacks, ensuring children, particularly those from newly arrived migrant families, started The school year prepared.the Help Fund's momentum was evident in The success of several key initiatives. The 17th annual vva-help USA toy drive welcomed over 700 guests, a 40% increase, and raised more support than ever for families with children programs, including genesis academy. The second annual art of resilience benefit, led by renowned contemporary artist baseera khan alongside board members at gonzalez, jean brownhill, and eden williams, spotlighted The profound impact of Help's art therapy programs and its newest purpose-built shelter, Help new leaf, opening spring 2025. Moreover, upstream 2024: frontline solutions to homelessness, The Help Fund's premier industry symposium, returned for an encore year, convening over 300 housing and homelessness professionals for critical discussions on innovative solutions and policy advancements related to The influx of migrants and asylum seekers aligned with Help USA's mission.these collective efforts underscore Help Fund's unwavering commitment to expanding resources, deepening community engagement, and driving forward Help USA's mission to break The cycle of homelessness.
