Program areas at The Forsaken Children

During 2022 through TFCs partnership with the Onesimus Children Development Association (an Ethiopian NGO), children and their families were impacted through such programs as school fees; family support for kids to keep them off the streets; and support for kids who have aged out of the program, with next steps to independence; all while sharing the gospel. This impacted approximately 235 people.
During 2022 through TFCs partnership with WRAPS, approximately 1,000 girls were provided with washable, reusable, affordable pads while also being educated about their developing bodies. These resources help girls to stay in school during their menstrual cycle.
During 2022 through TFCs partnership with Make Your Mark, funding was provided for 3 drop-in centers in Ethopia. This ministry provides a safe place to get boys & girls off the streets; get food, basic education, counseling, and play therapy; and be reunited with family when possible. This impacted approximately 250 individuals, either directly or indirectly.
During 2022 through TFCs partnership with Arise Global, funding was provided to a outreach ministry to girls ages 16-25 who have been trafficked into the underground sex trade in Ethiopia, providing job training and tools to live a full life outside of the sex industry.
