Provided grant money to purchase interpretive signage and create an interpretive nature hiking trail for families to learn about native and invasive plant and animal life in the DuPage and Cook County Illinois region.
This program provided funding to purchase and release thousands of baitfish to help rebalance the fish population of a rapidly degrading lake in Lemont, Illinois.
For this project, we retained an environmental restoration consultant to create a 10-year environmental restoration plan for a 270-acre parcel of land in Cook County, Illinois. Our primary efforts for the next several years will go toward fundraising for, and executing projects related to the restoration plan.
