KC Farm School at Gibbs Road

On three acres, we grow food in the city for our neighbors demonstrating that food production in the city is possible and that a living can be made in this way. We grow food to provide access to our county with the lowest socioeconomic status and poorest health outcomes in the state of Kansas. We share our resources with other food producers. In 2021, we welcomed the community back on-farm, hands-on for educational events, field trips, to learn to farm through apprenticeships, at our on-site farmers market, for social events, workshops, farm tours, for a festival. We maintained our online store so that community members could access our food and our plants virtually.
