In 2022, The Enterprise Group staff assisted clients who made commitments to create and retain 1,241 jobs, and invest over 122 million in Jackson county. The Enterprise Group celebrated its 25th year and continues to enhance economic development initiatives for all of Jackson county.
Through The procurement technical assistance center (ptac), which is now known as The south central Michigan apex accelerator (apex), over 88.8 million in federal and state contracts were awarded to Jackson county companies in 2022. Apex provides services to The counties of clinton, eaton, hillsdale, ingham, Jackson, and lenawee counties, and they have regularly staffed offices in Jackson, at The Enterprise Group, and lansing with satelite offices located in litchfield and adrian.
