The Cleveland Police Foundation works to strengthen the bonds between the Cleveland Division of Police and the citizens it serves, working together to make our city safer for all. The mental health and welfare program of police line officers produced accomplishments such as providing stress management training for 50 detectives and equine therapy stress relief management for 136 officers and family members. The CPF proactively supports and invests in community policing & engagement initiatives to assist the Cleveland Division of Police in forging stronger bonds with the community it serves.

Community policing & engagement initiatives (cpi): The Cleveland Police Foundation (cpp) works to assit The Cleveland division of Police in forging stronger bonds with The community it serves. To accomplish that, The cpf works proactively to support and invest in programs, projects, and events that foster positive relationships between citizens and Police officers, helping officers to better perform their duties.
The mental health and welfare program of Police line officers started in 2022 produced The folowing accomplishments:provides stress management training for 50 detectives; 136 officers and family members received equine therapy stress relief management; approximately 200 officers participated in stress management yoga training; approximately 374 pink badges were sold in support of breast cancer and 250 officers attended a breast cancer awarness training session and resource fair; cpf funded The acquisition of The divisions first ever therapy dog to be used for interaction with trauma victims of crime and for officer stress management; The plan is to aquirea dog per all five Police districts in Cleveland
Internal relations and morale development (irmd) program: The cpf provides support to members of The Cleveland division of Police and their families, provides support to families and colleagues of officers who die in The line of duity, and invests in training and education to continually improve law enforcement performance and public safety.
Assistance to Police charities: The cpf provides monetary support and assistance to Police charities that provide programs to enrich The lives of clevelands youth and families and to fund The purchase of equipment and technology that enhances The ability of Police to protect The community.
