The Childrens Course

The chapter of first tee:greater portland is making its impact currently at 4 golf courses, elementary and middle schools, and with numerous community partnerships via program all focused on helping youth become The best version of themselves. On golf courses we are serving over 730 youth annually, 30% who are ethnically diverse and 36% female. We are working hard to break down barriers and stigmas around The game of golf in order for every child to benefit from this life-long sport. Equipment is provided to anyone in need and over $12,000 in full or partial scholarships are offered annually for any of our programs.our program's impact: . 100% participants transferred what they learned at first tee to school . 82% feel more confident with social skills . 73% reported higher confidence in academic ability
