Performance - The Municipal Band of Charlottesville, dba The Charlottesville Band, has approximately 85 volunteer playing members. Typically, The Band holds 49 two-hour rehearsals per year, and performs on average 12 concerts annually. In addition, there are several smaller ensembles made up of Band members that rehearse and perform throughout The year.
Facilities - The Municipal Band of charlottesville,dba The Charlottesville Band, owns and operates The Municipal arts center. In addition to a rehearsal hall, office and storage facility for The Band, The Municipal arts center is offered for lease to service clubs, educational organizations, musical and dance groups, school groups and others.
