Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City Foundation

The Foundation supports the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City's initiatives. The main program is the centurion leadership program, a two- year leadership development program designed to prepare Kansas City's emerging leaders for the future. There were 164 active particpants representing 139 organizations enrolled in the program. The executive women's leadership council introduced roundtables creating an opportunity for members to discuss topics relevant to women in leadership. Other initiatives include growing our welcoming kc coalition and community partnerships to over 70 organizations and businesses, hosting a refugee and immigrant job fair with 6 spoken languages, and hosting a naturalization ceremony where more than 250 people from across western Missouri became us citizens. In addition, we exposed more than 100 second chance job candidates to job training opportunities and interviews, collaborated with 65 nonprofit organization and institutions that serve formerly incarcerated individuals, and educated 45 Greater Kansas City area companies about second chance hiring.
