The Center for Loss and Bereavement is The only organization in The greater phila region that specializes in providing comprehensive services to promote The health and resiliency of individuals, families, and organizations facing profound grief and Loss. The Center has offered specialized care and compassionate connection to thousands of program participants over its 25 years of mission work. By providing a variety of services including grief counseling, peer support groups, and both public and professional education, The Center has expanded awareness and advocacy while partnering with dozens of local organizations to better meet The needs of bereaved children, teens, and families, along with employee wellness. In The last fiscal year, our Center has provided direct care services to more than 700 people, and worked with community partners and schools in supporting organizational needs through education, consult, and in off-site programs when needed. All services are provided for reduced / sliding scale fees (counseling), or at no cost to The participants (children and family group program). The generosity of donors and foundations, along with many volunteers, allows our programs to be provided to more people without added financial burden.
