The purpose of The inaugural cnoc investigator award is to provide funding support for cnoc members to leverage The cnoc infrastructure to conduct research and/or quality improvement science aimed at improving Neurodevelopmental, psychosocial outcomes, and/or quality of life for children and families affected by congenital heart disease (chd).
Cnoc's Neurodevelopmental core lab (ndc) and data analysis core (dac) are researching The development of infants, toddlers and preschoolers who have undergone neonatal Cardiac surgery using a limited list of demographic, Neurodevelopmental, medical history and surgical variables. As initial aims are achieved, Neurodevelopmental testing outcomes, quality of life outcomes and medical history data will be added to these efforts.
