The Black Swan Academy empowers Black youth in under-served communities through civic leadership and engagement. It partners with the DC Girls Coalition to elevate the voices of young women, girls, femmes, non-conforming and young women/girls of color of trans experience in the District of Columbia. Along with other exempt organizations in DC, it supports mutual aid efforts for essential or basic survival needs as requested by city residents or organizations.

Dc girls coalition: work to elevate and amplify The voices of young women, girls, femmes, non-conforming and young women/girls of color of trans experience in The district of columbia. Dcgc, comprised of youth-serving and advocacy organizations, will adopt and implement policy recommendations that centers their leadership and addresses their needs.
Fiscal sponsorship: The organization accepts tax-deductible donations on behalf of fiscally sponsored groups and administers The expenditures of those funds for designated tax-exempt charitable purposes.
