We are a network of self advocates, service providers, families, caregivers, and professionals who work collaboratively to take actions that will make our community a better place to live for individuals with special needs and disabilities.making our community a better place to live for people with disabilities is a group effort and everyone is welcome and encouraged to join along. Every organization and individual who joins our email list becomes part of greenville can and part of The movement. When we add our voices, our ideas, and our efforts together, we can make greenville a more equitable and inclusive place for people with disabilities to live.
Up employment initiative: The up employment initiative is a unique program of The Barbara Stone Foundation that provides direct employment support services (including pre-employment support, job coaching, and a year-long professional development class) for individuals with disabilities desiring employment. Up prioritizes competitive employment and advancing, and it aimed at developing a world class workforce initiative for The inclusive employment of people with disabilities.
Community innovations grants program: our goal is to invest in innovative programs and initiatives that empower individuals with disabilities, bridge gaps in existing programs, and provide solutions to issues faced by The disabilities community.
