Program areas at The Baja Musical Arts Initiative
Sharing notes is an exchange program between The united states and mexico for specialized musicians, voice and orchestral/choral conducting with a background in teaching and interested in The community work. The objective is to offer master classes, lectures, recitals and concerts to The students of The centro de artes musicales to inspire them in their Musical growth and use music as an instrument to promote other values such as discipline and solidarity. At The same time it offers The possibility for world class musicians/teachers to be part of a social project where music, culture, language, possibilities, and inspiration are promoted.
Redes usa's mission is to provide intensive programming free-of-cost to young people as a strategy to transform communities affected by poverty, violence and crime through music education. Redes usa operates in new york's most vulnerable neighborhoods and communities. It promotes music instruction that incorporates community-building and music education at its core. Aimed at young people between The ages of 6 and 17, redes usa's goal is to positively impact The living conditions of student participants and their families. The social-emotional components of The program will include intense team-building and group work.
