Program areas at The Babinski Foundation
Vacant investment land was converted to a dog park that is available for use to The general public. There is also space set aside to host pet adoptions.
The Foundation adopted out 1,401 animals in 2021 and returned 74 animals to their owners 2021.
The Foundation rescued and provided medical care and shelter to 1,475 animals in 2021.
The animal shelter charges a fee when animals are adopted by The
Public. Each animal adopted out is nurtured, micro chipped and checked
Out by a vet. The adoption fee helps offset these costs.
The shelter provides discounted boarding as an adoption incentive.
This ensures The adopted animals will have a safe housing option if
Adopter needs housing temporarily for The animal. This not only
Provides The animal with a level of comforting familiarity but also
Gives The shelter staff an opportunity to observe The welfare of The a
Animal. This is support of our mission to ensure animals have a safe,
Healthy environment that will provide temporary shelter.
