The AMC concerts in the 2023-2024 season included a Fall Concert reflecting on the power of song. The Chrismas concert featured familar songs of the holiday season that were a delight to the ear and warmth for the heart. Special Guest Choirs from Local ISDs joined AMC at both concerts.
AMC continued the annual presentation of 2 Scholarships to UTA music students.
The AMC Spring 2024 concert was a tribute to African American composers and culminated with Robert Rays exciting modern classic, Gospel Mass! AMC was accompained by strings and professional Rhythm and Blues musicians, featuring Audra Scott, J.E. McKissic, Josi Alexander, and Brothers in Song. The concert concluded with an encore performance of two pieces from Elaine Hagenbergs work, Illuminare, which AMC perfomed the World Premiere at their 20th anniversary of the 9/11 concert in 2021.
