Program areas at The Allo Hope Foundation
Education - we provide patients and provider education and resources through our website, social media platforms, podcast and point of care materials. The point of care materials include patient booklets for women experiencing an alloimmunized pregnancy and parents with a child who has hemolytic disease of The fetus and newborn (hdfn). These educational booklets have been sent to every fetal center in The united states and patients worldwide.
Advocacy and awareness - our advocacy and awareness program connects us with other related organizations and patients from all over The world. We help bring awareness to The disease through speaking engagements, podcasts, webinars, blog posts, etc. We also help raise support for our partner organization in nigeria: rhesus solutions initiative.
Patient support - we provide patients throughout their journey with alloimmunization and hdfn. This includes a large patient support group on facebook with over 1,000 members worldwide where patients can connect with other women and find all The resources they need. We also mentor patients one on one by providing emotional support and answering questions they have and referring them to experienced specialists.
Research - we teamed up with allstripes to create a rare disease research program for alloimmunization and hdfn. This will help researchers advance treatments for our disease.
