Texas Surf Conservancy

To enlighten the world as to the unique culture and history of Texas surfing; encourage our community to experience the fun, accessible and healthy lifestyle of surfing and related board sports; educate everyone in proper conservation practices to protect and preserve the beaches, bays and waterways of the Texas gulf coast. The museum has implemented an education program providing field trip opportunities for local schools, groups and organizations; its goal, to teach youth about the Texas history and science of surfing. The museum is involved in the surfing community by sponsoring various events and coordinating with other non-profits to fulfill our mission.
