Program areas at Texas After Violence Project

2023 saw a continuation of the organization's longstanding dedication and work of documenting and archiving the experiences and stories of those directly impacted by state-sanctioned violence. This past year, we completed 19 oral histories through the Visions After Violence community fellowship program; engaged with 65 mental health professionals across the country through our Access to Treatment Initiative; and created a new archive collection called "Legacy After Loss."
The organization continued to act as Fiscal Sponsor for Mourning Our Losses.
